It means “Suck” though I suspect the average Mexican, Tejas and others south would hear it as “Sucker”. Honestly, not that bad a name for a dog. I knew a GSD mix named “mother f**ker” no kidding, for real. Nice grrl. I have plato, lady, Abigale, Pat, Leah (pronounced LEE) and Kelly. I’ve had even odder named dogs than sucker. 😉 Stay weird kids, keeps life normal.

I have zero spanish language skill and I make Chupaquesos better than the average schmuck in the jungle (hobo reference, I’m OLD) and I find that name perfect. I’ve had dogs named Trouble, Bubbles, Grimmy, Jaquelene O’dawg, William Raymond Robert (but everyone calls me Billy) and worse. If I ever get a standard poodle to hunt game birds with it will get named h*nky just so I can offend the over sensitives. 😉
